Event
SVSI is dedicated to serving the community by organizing various events and projects throughout the year. Our events are aimed at raising awareness, providing education and vocational training. We also organize health camps, donations, distribution programs to address the needs of the community. Through our various events and projects, we strive to make a positive impact and improve the lives of those we serve.
Free Pediatric Health Camp 2024
From November 25th to 30th, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI), in collaboration with Bharatpur Hospital and Medical Checks for Children, Netherlands, successfully organized a 6-day Free Pediatric Health Camp across Kalika, Ichchhakamana, and Ratnanagar Municipalities. This initiative aimed to provide essential medical services to children at no cost, benefitting a total of 1,030 children during the six days of operations.

Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI), in collaboration with Restaurant and Bar Association (REBAN) Sauraha and PUM Netherlands, successfully organized a comprehensive Bakery Training from July 12th to 15th at Shree Bacchauli Secondary School. The training was led by Mr. Sjoerd Jellema, an expert from PUM Netherlands, and was attended by 17 enthusiastic youths. The program aimed to equip participants with essential bakery skills, promoting entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities in the region. This year, on last week of September, Nepal received heavy and persistent rainfall. Till now, death toll has reached to 170, with another 63 missing according to National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority. In capital city of Nepal alone, 34 people has lost their lives. Currently, rescue operation is ongoing for which 3000 security personnel are deployed. Since from Friday, all domestic flights out of Kathmandu have been cancelled, affecting more than 150 departures. Chitwan district which is surrounded by the big Narayani River and Rapti river engulfed more territories, affecting daily routine of local people. Many farms land shallowed by the over flooded river; houses inundated. Unforeseen incident that happened recently due to excessive rainfall is a great loss. From November 20th to November 25th 2023, SVSI organized medical camp in collaboration with Bharatpur Hospital and Medical Checks for Children Netherlands. During the 6-day health camp, 1117 children were checked and treated free of cost including their medication. During the free of costs medical checks, the children were checked following the carrousel:
1. Registration of the child
2. Measuring height and weight
3. Blood test (haemoglobin) and urine test and/or malaria test when indicated
4. Physical examination by a medical doctor
5. Giving medication (pharmacy)
6. Education on tooth brushing (a toothbrush was given to each child)

From November 29th to December 6th, 2022, SVSI incollaboration with Medical Checks for Children (MCC) performed 6-day medical camp in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, Kalika Municipality and Ratnanagar Municipality. During the health camp, 951 children were checked and got treatment free of cost. During the free of costs medical checks, the children were checked following the MCC carrousel:

On May 8, 2021, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) launched Free Ambulance Service dedicated to supporting COVID-19 patients in the community. The initiative aimed to ease the burden on local healthcare facilities by providing safe and timely transportation for those in need of medical attention. Over the course of one month, SVSI successfully assisted 150 patients, offering crucial services during a critical time in the pandemic. Serious problems exist in the rural villages of Chitwan for children who are dying from common illness and infections. Considering this situation, a check-up mission was started since 2010 with the mutual co-operation of FEMI (Foundation to Earth, Mankind through Inspiration and Initiative), Bunch (Bongers Unlimited Children’s Health), MCC (Medical Checkup for Children, Netherlands) and Sapana Village in order to inform parents and children about the health rules as well as gender health and hygiene through various health camps in the rural village. We were shattered by the news of death and physical loss in Bara and Parsa due to the Tornado. As a social organization we could not only be a mere observer so we thought to go there with some relief material. For this we needed some fund so we requested some of our friends and without a further a-do Riksja travel, 6 degrees academy for women and Nepal Beneflet Aalsmeer offered fund. We also got help from REBAN sauraha and we went to Feta-1 and 2 with relief material (mosquito net, bed sheet, tooth pest, brushes, soaps, sanitary pads) for 300 families and distributed to the victims in the presence of the chairman and other local authorities.
