NGO Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) in Nepal is supplying ovens which reduce the smoke in the regular kitchens of local families. An expert was called to make the bricks made of clay and pieces of straw.
They normally require a few days to dry before using them to make the ovens. Comparing traditional cooking ovens, these kinds of ovens require less firewood and consume less time to cook meals. The smoke basically passes through the chimney and creates a more healthy environment in the kitchen of our local families.
