Under Comprehensive Community Development Programme (CCDP), SVSI has initiated a drinking water project in Kalika-10, Parang. The project aims to provide clean and sustainable drinking water to 10 households, benefiting approximately 50 residents in the area.
The initiative focuses on improving water accessibility and ensuring long-term water security for the community. To guarantee effective implementation and maintenance, a User Committee has been formed. This committee will oversee the operation of the water supply system, manage infrastructure upkeep, and promote community engagement for sustainable management. The project aligns with broader efforts under CCDP to enhance climate resilience and improve livelihoods in vulnerable communities. Locals have expressed optimism, hoping the initiative will bring much-needed relief and improve public health outcomes.
