SVSI Enhances Child Welfare through "Lunch at School" Program and Warm Clothes Support in Ichchhakamana

Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) has expanded its commitment to education and child welfare by implementing the "Lunch at School" project, also known as the "Day Meal Program" by the Government of Nepal, in three schools: Shree National Basic School, Bharang; Shree Janta Basic School, Rangchurang; and Shree National Basic School, Bhulbhule, in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality.

To mark the New Year 2025, SVSI distributed warm sweaters to 329 students across these schools and provided exercise books to 70 students at Shree Janta Basic School, Rangchurang. The initiative aimed to support students’ academic pursuits and protect them from the winter cold.

During the visit, the SVSI team also conducted a monitoring session to assess the effectiveness of the "Lunch at School" Program. The program continues to play a vital role in improving student well-being, attendance, and engagement, demonstrating SVSI's dedication to fostering sustainable educational development.
