Under the Comprehensive Community Development Project, SVSI conducted Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) training at Majhwang and Hattibang Schools on 7th of July. The training aimed to promote clean water, proper sanitation, and hygiene practices to improve health outcomes among students.
The sessions covered essential topics such as water safety, sanitation facilities, and effective handwashing techniques. Students were also informed about common waterborne and sanitation-related diseases, their prevention, and the importance of seeking medical care when necessary. Interactive methods, including games, were employed to engage students and encourage the adoption of good hygiene and sanitation habits. The training also emphasized community engagement to ensure sustained impact beyond the school environment. This initiative is expected to enhance student health, reduce absenteeism, and create a more conducive learning environment in the participating schools.
