SVSI Conducted Orientation Program for Village Improvement Committees and Mother Groups in Kalika Municipality

Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) organized an orientation program for the Village Improvement Committees and Mother Groups operating in Ward No. 10 and 11 of Kalika Municipality. The event, held on March 17, 2025, brought together 45 participants, including the Presidents and Secretaries of all Village Improvement Committees and Mothers' Groups. The primary goal of the orientation was to equip the committees and groups with the tools and knowledge necessary to identify and select interested trainees from their respective villages for various skill-based training programs. These programs are designed to enhance the participants' skills and improve their economic prospects.

In addition to training delegation, the program focused on raising awareness about income-generating opportunities through entrepreneurial initiatives. Participants were guided on how to utilize locally available resources to create sustainable income streams, thereby improving the economic potential of individuals and the community. The session emphasized empowering the groups with strategies to maximize their impact, establishing a sense of self-reliance and community development. By the end of the orientation, attendees were better prepared to take on the responsibility of identifying trainees and implementing entrepreneurial projects that leverage local resources.
