SVSI and IRM Launched "Homestay Management Training" in Ghurkesh

In a mutual collaboration, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) and Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality (IRM) officially inaugurated the "Homestay Management Training" in the remote village of Ghurkesh, Ichchhakamana Ward No. 2. The initiative was attended by Dhruba Giri, Chairperson of SVSI; Dan Bahadur Gurung, Chairperson of IRM; Chandra Kanta Basnet, Chief Administrative Officer of IRM; and other distinguished members from both organizations.

The primary goal of the training program is to foster cultural exchange and drive economic development by equipping local residents with essential hospitality skills. By emphasizing sustainable tourism practices, the initiative aims to create job opportunities, diversify income sources, and promote community-based tourism in Ghurkesh. It also focuses on enhancing infrastructure, improving market offerings, and raising environmental awareness, with a vision to transform the area into a vibrant and sustainable tourist destination.
