In a collaborative effort, Riksja Travels from the Netherlands and the local authority of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality have been supplying essential medicines to the Bharang health post. This initiative aims to provide free medications to sick residents in the remote mountain villages.
From SVSI, Medicines were delivered, based on a request from the health post in-charge. Medical staff report that many children suffer from illnesses due to a lack of balanced and healthy food in their early years. Riksja Travels and SVSI have expressed their willingness to extend financial support to provide nutritious food, should the local government agree to participate in this project.
