1-day Free Health Camp was organized in Bharang, Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality, Ward No. 1, on March 15, 2025. The event, led by Bharatpur Hospital in collaboration with Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI), was part of the hospital’s 69th-anniversary celebrations, showing hospital's dedication to community welfare and healthcare equity. The health camp was inaugurated by Chairperson of Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality Mr. Dan Bahadur Gurung alongside Superintendent of Bharatpur Hospital Mr. Krishna Prasad Poudel and Chairperson of SVSI Mr. Dhruba Giri. The initiative aimed to provide free health checkups and medications to underprivileged and vulnerable communities, with a focus on promoting health awareness and addressing local health challenges.
A total of 154 patients received comprehensive health services during the camp, with a notable majority being women. Of the beneficiaries, 108 were female patients, while 46 were male, highlighting the program’s emphasis on addressing healthcare disparities, particularly among women in the region. The health camp covered a wide range of medical services, including orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, dermatology, and general medicine. The breakdown of patient observations was as follows:
- Orthopedics: 50 patients
- Pediatrics: 25 patients
- Gynecology: 20 patients
- Dermatology: 10 patients
- General Medicine: 49 patients
