In a significant step towards empowering marginalized farmers, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) recently distributed five digital weighing machines to beneficiaries in the Rain Communities of Hattibang, Chhapdada, Kaule, Tobang, and Ghurkesh. This initiative is part of SVSI’s broader effort to promote and commercialize agricultural products in rural areas.
The provision of digital weighing machines aims to reduce the financial losses farmers often face when selling their produce to vendors. By enabling accurate weighing, the machines help ensure fair transactions, allowing farmers to retain a larger portion of their earnings. This initiative not only supports farmers in achieving fair compensation but also strengthens their economic resilience and encourages sustainable agricultural practices. Through these efforts, SVSI continues its commitment to fostering rural prosperity and economic empowerment.
