Under the Comprehensive Community Development Program, Sapana Village Social Impact (SVSI) has launched a significant initiative to enhance the well-being and hygiene standards of local communities. SVSI has distributed Latrine Construction Sets to 60 households in IRM and Kalika, aiming to address sanitation challenges and improve living conditions.
The distributed sets include essential materials such as tin roofs, toilet pan sets, pipes, and cement, ensuring households can construct proper sanitation facilities. Despite the area being declared an Open Defecation Free (ODF) zone, a portion of the population still lacks access to basic sanitation, contributing to various health concerns and reflecting underlying poverty levels. Recognizing the importance of sanitation in promoting community health and reducing disease, SVSI's initiative is a crucial step toward creating a safer, healthier environment. By enabling households to build hygienic latrines, the organization aims to reinforce positive health outcomes and uplift community standards.
