People faced numerous challenges to collect water for their daily needs. Due to lack of resources near their houses, they had to travel long distances to fetch water, which was an arduous task. This resulted in people spending significant amounts of time and energy collecting their water rather than engaging in other productive activities. On the other hand, the water sources in these areas were not clean, which led to waterborne illnesses and other health issues.
