Sapana Village Social Impact and financially supported by FEMI Foundation, Netherlands

September 15, 2017: Organized by Sapana Village Social Impact and financially supported by FEMI Foundation, Netherlands, The 03 Year Project "A Step Ahead for the Development of Siddi Preserving the Nature and Local Resources" has been warmly welcomed and appreciated by the people who are truly benefited. SVSI has started various competitions to encourage and honor the Chepang families that could bring some good changes in the community. Out of 743 families of Siddi (It is in Kalika Municipality), 75 families were rewarded with cash prize as selected by the group of 30 Jury members. The best families were nominated according to the cleanliness of their houses, decoration, clean toilets, proper vegetable gardening and their overall living environment. The first prize winning 15 families received the cash of Rs.15,000 each and Rs.12000, 10000, 7000 and 5000 rupees in cash were awarded to the second, third, fourth and fifth winner families respectively. The five best jury members were honored at the event for their great efforts.
Thanks to both mayors Narayan Ban from Ratnanagar Municipality and Gopi Shrestha of Kalika Municipality for attending the event and making people excited throughout the day. SVSI would also like to thank other respected members from different social organizations and the journalists from various social Medias. Special thanks to our national singer Ramesh Raj Bhattarai who truly entertained more than 1800 people with his best singing performances. His judgment at the singing and dancing competitions performed by local artists was much appreciated. An involvement of Humberto as the representative of FEMI addedgreat value to the ceremony.
